I was very saddened to learn of Frank's passing. For the past several years we took several canoe-kayak trips down the Battenkill on Cambridge Central School homecoming weekends with a number of Cambridge grads and their spouses. Frank was a kayaker who was a joy to be with. Last summer Frank was unable (due to his health) to join us on the river but we followed our kayak trip with a picnic at Frank and Lucille house on top of the mountain overlooking Salem. Frank was his usual smiling self. I was happy to be able to see some of his sailboat models and hear of his sailing days. Out of curiosity I engaged him in exploring his background and finding out how he discovered Lucille and Cambridge. He truly led an impressive life and had an equally impressive career, one that I had hoped to learn more about. I expected to see him again this summer. Frank was the kind of person that you looked forward to spending time with, and I had only begun to spend time with him. God Bless you Lucille, I can feel your loss.

I had the pleasure of golfing with Frank and his friends at the Ondawa Greens and very much enjoyed his company and conversation. He always talked about his wife's beautiful quilts! He will be greatly missed.
