A hug and many blessings to the entire Sheldon family. As I acknowledge the passing of your beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, I reflect back on the many interactions I had with her over the years. Grace always had time (unless the cows were out) to have a chat and to listen or to sympathize or share one's happiness. I feel very fortunate to have known Grace and I can say that I still have some cherished items created by her...rest in peace, sweet lady. May God wrap his loving arms around all of you and give you peace.

Dear Dan and Valerie, Jim and Karen, and all the Sheldon family,
It is with some mixed feelings that I heard of Grace's death -- mixed, because I know that her last years were not much like the rest of her life, and I will always remember her as she was the summer I spent on the farm with Grace and Hap while I worked as Seminary Intern at the church. The first time I saw her was in the driveway of the house across the bridge. She came running out of the house, skirt and apron flying in the breeze, saying "Hi, I'm Grace! The cows are out!" Which of course meant she had to herd them back in ... Grace taught me so much about hospitality, about the importance of a sense of humor, and, well, about GRACE. God's grace, that is. I miss her, and have some idea how much she has meant to all of you and all her many friends. I thank God for allowing me to get to know both Grace and Hap. Blessings, Lois
