Dear Bruce, You are Dearly Missed ! Today I went to the IGA (aka Surefine) and I saw a wonderful group of Flowers that have been left on the 'Bench' where You would sit. I teared up immediately and I thought You should know just how much You touched so many people in this little Town. You always were so nice to me, and Your many kindnesses to others will be so missed. Best to You Always My Friend......

The passing of Bruce just saddens our hearts. We had many conversations with Bruce when we went on our walks around the village! Always a pleasure to talk to as he enjoyed his time on "the bench" and we always would look to see whether he was there or not....we ended many walks chatting with him! Many prayers to his friends and family, we are sure he has a "bench" in heaven for many more conversations!

Bruce was more than a resident at the Mansion...he was family. Even though he was younger than most of the other residents, he was like the "Big Brother". Always lending a hand or giving a kind word. He watched out for his friends. If I was having a hard day, Bruce always made me smile and thanked me for being there. He was a stoic man, right to the end. Rest In Peace my friend, you will be missed by many.

I had many conversations with Bruce and Sallie, they were both very kind and friendly. When Bruce started sitting on the bench we would chat and he always had something nice to say. He will be missed.

Bruce was an absolute delight, a gentleman and wonderful person. He loved to talk about his coin collection and show me his special coins. I have missed his presence on the bench and friendly wave. God Bless and rest in eternal peace dear Bruce

You were such a nice gentle man. You are missed sitting on the park bench reading your paper and talking to everyone that walked by. You always had a kind word or a compliment. May you be at peace .

Bruce was a wonderful fixture in your community. His presence on "the Bench" is sincerely missed. Many people have asked where he is. His conversations always included questions with genuine concern and he always remembered details from prior conversations. He knew all of our comings and goings and recognized changes in our routines. Bruce was a part of what made this community so wonderful to live in.
