William Gary Conety

Jefferson, GA- William Gary Conety, 72 of Jefferson, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022.  Mr. Conety was born in Cambridge, New York, a son of the late William James Conety and the late Marjorie Perry Beattie Conety. Mr. Conety was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the Albert Gordon Post 56 of the American Legion, and was working at MediCore, where he was the Director of Regulatory Affairs.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Conety is predeceased by his brother, John Wayne Morrison.

Survivors include his wife Ana Maria Conety of Jefferson, Georgia; daughter, Andrea Conety of Falls Church, Virginia; and three sons; William Conety of Jefferson, Georgia, Jonathon Conety of Brattleboro, Vermont and Jason Conety of Hoosick Falls, New York. Survivors also include six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, as well as two sisters; Nancy Rountree of Shushan, New York and Martha Brownell of Manchester, Vermont. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Visitation was held at Evans Funeral Home in Jefferson, GA from 3-5 pm Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Memorial service was held at 5 pm.

In honor of Gary, the family will welcome friends and neighbors on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 2-4 pm at the Mackenzie Chapel at the First United Presbyterian Church, 13 West Broadway, Salem, NY
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in honor of Mr. William Gary Conety.
