Hoosick Falls-WendySue Babcock, 64, of Hoosick Falls, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
Born February 13, 1956 in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Evelyn (Walizer) Hunt.
WendySue graduated from Berlin central School and had worked at Crescent Manor in Bennington for a short time. She then went to work at W.J. Cowee in Berlin for 15 years.
She was a member of the Petersburgh United Methodist Church and loved the holidays, enjoyed traveling when she could, going to tag sales and the county fairs where she would play games. Her most favorite passion was the love of her nieces and nephews.
WendySue is survived by her husband of 31 years, Roy Babcock; her brother and sisters, Ron (Fran) Hunt of Petersburgh, Judy (the late William) Shepard and Sally (Bruce) Michaels of Petersburgh. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 4-6 pm Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.
