Suzanne Taft Obituary

Cambridge-Suzanne (Sue) M. (Langlois) Taft, 48, of Cambridge, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 peacefully at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sue was born on October 10, 1971, in Cambridge the daughter of the late Cecil J. and Dorothy E. (White) Langlois.  She attended Cambridge Central School and was employed at Arlington Industries Quadra-Tek in Arlington, VT for about 15 years.  She loved life and liked to have a good time with family and friends. Sue's greatest love was for her children.

Sue is survived by her five children, Jessica Brice (30) of Cambridge, Corey Gilliland (Natalie) (27) of Cambridge, Jordan (11), Cody (8), and Jennah (7) Taft all of Cambridge.  She is also survived by her brothers and sister, Peter Langlois (Mary) of Wells, VT, Thomas Langlois (Dixie) of Mechanicville, NY, and Alice Jones (Robert) of Granville, NY.  She had two Beautiful grandsons, Chase Robinson and Elijah Gilliland, which she cherished very much.  She also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She also left behind her second mother, Sue Jacobson, who did so much for Sue through the years.

At Sue's request, there will be no funeral services.  She wanted her closest family and true friends to have a celebration of life party at a later date.  The family would like to thank Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and Cancer Center for all the care and support.

Memorial contributions can be made to Corey Gilliland at 9 West Main Street, Cambridge, NY 12816, to help Corey and Natalie care for Sue's younger children.  An amazing young man to make sure his younger siblings have the love, support, and home they need during this difficult time.
