Sandra J. Buckholtz

Eagle Bridge, NY - Sandra J. Buckholtz, 76, of Eagle Bridge, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at her residence.

Born on September 17, 1949, in Dover, New Jersey, Sandra was the daughter of the late Alexander and Marie (Torkelson) Buckholtz. She was a graduate of Netcong High School, Class of 1967, and later attended County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey.

Sandra had a lifelong love of books and reading. She worked as a bookseller in New Jersey and proudly owned and operated Books of Yesteryear, a business that reflected her passion for literature and history. In 2002, she moved to Eagle Bridge, where she made her home for many years. Sandra was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Cambridge.

She is survived by her brother, A. Mark Buckholtz and his partner Patricia de Man of Jackson, New York.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by other family members.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Cambridge.
