Rev. Paul Jason Bartholomew

Cambridge - Reverend Paul Jason Bartholomew went to be with his Lord and Savior early Tuesday morning June 11th, 2024. Paul was born on September 12th, 1936 to Irene O’Neil and Almon Bartholomew and raised into a family of 10 in Hudson Falls, New York.

He and his wife Christina met and were married for 65 years. Paul attended Princeton University, did coursework, and earned multiple degrees from many colleges and universities including a Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Beverly Hills. He became an educator, school administrator, a writer, a poet, a father, and a renowned literary achiever. He was a fellow of The World Literary Academy. He was known among international authors and writers of Who’s Who in Cambridge England. LA magazine referred to him as “The voice of God.” Paul was a passionate patriot, speaker, a synthesizing political/faith genius.

Paul pastored several churches including the Dutch Reformed Church in Buskirk, Coila Church in Cambridge, Whiteside in Center Cambridge and Gospel Lighthouse Church in Hudson Falls. He was known amongst those who knew him as honorable, loving, brilliant and unwavering in his faith. Paul was a certified Kentucky Colonel and member of the Patriot National Roll of Honor. Paul was also a director and administrator of Dino media ministries and syndicated the Katherine Kuhlman ministry and television show.

Paul has spoken in front of thousands yet believed growing relationships over a cup of coffee was most effective. Paul loved people not things because he knew he could never be loved by a thing. Paul’s favorite place was his home in the self-named “Fox Hollow” nestled in the foothills just out of side of Cambridge New York. Paul’s most important attribute was his love for Christ, The Word of God, and his love for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Christina and his five children: Laurie Lynn, Paul Jason Jr., Matthew Todd, Stephen Marc and Jonathan David; his sister, Carolyn Hittenberger. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A calling hour will be Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 from 10 – 11 am at the Coila Church, 93 State Route 372, Cambridge where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow at the Whiteside Cemetery in Center Cambridge.
