Ralph F. Box, III

Cambridge - Ralph Francis Box, III, (65) longtime resident of Cambridge, NY and Assistant Pastor of Salem Community Fellowship Church, went home with Jesus after brief complications from cancer treatment on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. He passed peacefully, fearlessly, attended by his close friend Herb Arnold.

Ralph walked the earth as a living testimony, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ freely, and making a ministry out of helping anyone in need around him. He had a fondness for supporting children in need, shouldering the prayerful burden of addicts in recovery, upholding the cause of the castaways and worked tirelessly to encourage and befriend those facing a multitude of hardships. Ralph truly represented the life of sacrifice a disciple of Christ seeks to have.

He is received in death by his beloved mother Dorothy O’Malley, his father Ralph F. Box Jr. and brother Carlon Martin Box. He leaves behind a son, Brandon S. Orlando (fiancé Calista), two grandsons London (15) and Jude (13). His sisters Deborah Box and Lucy Angman (Hasse) as well as numerous nephews, nieces and extended family that also greatly mourn his loss.

A public celebration of life will be held at Jacob’s Well Church at 29 W Main St, in Cambridge, NY 12816 at 11 AM on Saturday, October 12th, 2024- all are welcome.

In lieu of flowers the family would encourage friends and loved ones to make a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (https://www.stjude.org/donate), which is a longtime favorite cause supported by Ralph, on his behalf.
