Paul’s life was marked by dedication to his family and community. He was united in marriage to Susan Gates LaFountain, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond. Together, they raised four children: Timothy (Allison) LaFountain, Shawn LaFountain, Nicole (Earl) LaFountain Bump, and Martha (Caleb) LaFountain, all of Bennington. Paul’s interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping, finding peace in the great outdoors. A keen enthusiast of bowling, western movies, and tractor/truck pulls, Paul embraced life’s simple pleasures with enthusiasm. His passion for farming was another testament to his love for the land and its traditions.
