Eagle Bridge-Paul Emmanuel DiNovo, 71, of Eagle Bridge, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.
Born February 3, 1949 in Albany, he was the son of the late Emmanuel and Christine DiNovo.
Paul was educated in Albany and was an Ironworker for many years working for Local 12 in Albany. He was also a private contractor working for many people in the area.
Paul was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls and had many interests such as visiting with people, he loved animals and was a huge sports fan, he cared for his lawn and enjoyed mowing, he liked working on his four-wheeler, he loved riding his motorcycle, smoking cigars and looked forward to buying scratch off tickets. Paul always made a point of saying “Good Morning” to his family every day.
Paul is survived by his companion of 20 years, Martha Montana of Eagle Bridge; his children, Paul DiNovo, Jr., Nicole DiNovo, Jeannie DiNovo Martin. He is also survived by Martha’s children who Paul treated and thought of as if they were his own, Nicole Kelly of Eagle Bridge, Robin Small of Fort Plain, Johnathan Steele of Oppenheim and Susan Kelly of Lake Lauderdale. Paul also leaves behind his siblings, Christopher DiNovo, Jackie Wendell and Angie DiNovo and many grandchildren.
A service will be at 11 am Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge with Rev. Thomas Zelker officiating.
A calling hour will be 1 hour before the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Cambridge.
