Hoosick, NY – Patricia A. Green, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the age of 84, joining her parents, Lillian and John Ellis; her husband, Brian Green; her brother, Bill Ellis; and her grandsons, Larry Couch and Maliek Banks.
She is survived by her five daughters: Terry (Phil) Couch, Cindy (Ron) Smith, Belinda (Reggie) Matte, Tammy (Ed) Green, and Brianne (George) DiMaggio. Patricia also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Jack (Joanne) Ellis and Joe Sprague; her sisters, Nancy (Mike) Mahoney, Judy Tate, and Donna (Chuck) Alexander; and her lifelong friend, Pat McCart.
Patricia worked as a seamstress throughout her life at Barclay’s, C.B. Sports, and Porta Brace. Her dedication and craftsmanship touched many.
Services will be private for the family.
In honor of Patricia, donations may be made in her name on behalf of her two great-granddaughters, Ellie Mae and Beatrice, to the Newmeadow Preschool Program for Autistic Children. A private graveside service will be held at the Center White Creek Cemetery.
