Patricia A. (D'Angelo) Foran

Salem - Patricia A. Foran, 76, of Salem, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, August 31, 2025, at her home — a place she loved and made her own.

Born on September 29, 1948, in Troy, NY, Pat was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred (Simonds) D’Angelo. She graduated from Tamarac High School and later attended Mildred Elley Business School in Troy, laying the foundation for a life marked by hard work and care for others.

For two decades, Pat was a familiar and friendly face at Stewart’s in Salem, where she worked until her retirement in 2015. She was known for her dependable presence and the kindness she extended to customers and coworkers alike.

Pat had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. She found joy in gardening, photography, and cooking — always with an eye for beauty and a love for sharing. She especially enjoyed Sunday matinees at the Fort Salem Theater and treasured time spent at the family camp in Schroon Lake, a place filled with memories and peace. At home, she delighted in watching the birds outside her window and often kept an eye out for visiting deer and turkeys on the property.

Pat is survived by her wife, Mary E. King; her son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Stacie Paoletti of Redwood City, CA, and her cherished grandchildren, Nathan and Madeline Paoletti. Pat’s memory will live on in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and her two brothers, Chris D’Angelo and Paul D’Angelo.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the McClellan-Gariepy Funeral Home, 19 East Broadway, Salem. A service in celebration of Pat’s life will follow at 4 p.m., led by Rev. Debbie Earthrowl.
