Misti L. (Witherbee) Bush

Cambridge-Misti L. Bush, 61, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.

She was born August 14, 1962 at the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA the daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor (Snyder) Witherbee.

Misti graduated from Hartford Central School and worked at Wel-Dun Water in Cambridge and then at both The Cambridge and The Mansion in Cambridge where she was a cook.

Misti enjoyed bird watching and was an animal lover.  She had a prolific green thumb and enjoyed spending time with her family.  There was no garage sale or thrift store that she ever passed up.  Misti’s favorite place to be and visit was Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Kurt Brian Bush and her grandmother, Zada Snyder.

Misti is survived by her husband, Kurt F. Bush; her children, Christopher Bush, Lindsay (Aaron) Heller, Kellie (Josh) Fernet and Tanya Bush Clark; grandchildren, Karsen and Maize Bush, Jacob and Colena Clark, Brittany Bush, Kelly Vincent and Destiney Mattice; a brother, Shawn Keith; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon Deyette and Jack Deyette.

Visiting hours are Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 1-3 pm at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.

A celebration of life will be following the visiting hours from 3-6 pm at the Captain Maxson American Legion, 2106 State Route 22, Cambridge.

Memorial contributions in memory of Misti may be made to the Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center, 211 Church St., Saratoga Springs, NY  12866.
