Michael A. Melite

Greenwich – Michael A. Melite, 66, of Greenwich, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 at Saratoga Hospital.

He was born July 4, 1957 in Troy the son of the late Salvatore R. and Virginia Moeller Melite.  Michael graduated from Hoosic Valley Central School in 1975.  He was an auto mechanic for 40 years owning and operating SRM Motors in Melrose.

Michael loved his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting and remote-control airplanes.  He was a certified scuba diver and loved canning and working in the garden.

Michael is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Zeno Melite; his children, Anthony N. Melite of Grafton and Dominick D. (Andrea) Melite of Manteca, CA; a brother, Richard S. (Carol) Melite of Schaghticoke; his grandchildren, Prima Melite, Caitlyn Melite, Isabella Hill and Dominick F. Melite.

Calling hours are from 10 am to 12 pm Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Saratoga Hospital for the wonderful care given to Michael.
