Kathleen Madeleine (Rothe) Goldblum

Cambridge-Kathleen Madeline Rothe Goldblum, 53, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 13th, 2020, surrounded by her family after a brief but courageous battle with breast cancer. 

Kathy was the loving wife of Richard, mother of Shelby and Mary-Katherine Baldwin, and step-mother to Jessica Knight (Chris), Jacob Goldblum (Caitlin), and Jamie Bridges (Elijah).  She is also survived by her mother, Janice Gallow Rothe, a sister, Mary Wright, and brothers William, Frederick, and John Rothe.  She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Rothe. 

Born in Huntington, NY on March 5th, 1966, the family relocated to Greene County where she later raised her family.  Kathy worked for Catskill School District, New York State DMV, and finally at Peckham Industries where she was a beloved friend and co-worker.  She loved country life, was an avid gardener, and a home canner. Kathy was an excellent cook and loved having fresh produce from her garden in her recipes.  She loved her home and enjoyed decorating it for the seasons as well as doing home improvement projects with her husband, Rich.  All who knew her will miss her smiling face and happy presence.  

At Kathy’s request, there will be no services at this time.
