Jason Gregory Scott Shaw

Hebron, NY - Jason Gregory Scott Shaw, 38, of Hebron, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

Jason was born on March 13, 1987, in Cambridge, New York, the son of Robert and Willodene (Ruggles) Shaw of Hebron. He attended Salem Washington Academy and spent much of his working life as a contractor. Over the years, Jason was employed at M & B Junkyard in Granville and later at Commonwealth Plywood in Whitehall.

Jason had a deep love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and camping and was happiest spending time outside. He also took great pride in his trucks, which were one of his favorite passions. Above all else, Jason loved his children dearly, and they were the center of his life.

Jason is survived by his parents, Robert and Willodene Shaw of Hebron; his children, Jaxson Shaw, Maverick Shaw & Branson Shaw; his siblings, Robert (Jessica) Shaw, Jr., David Keith Shaw, and Amanda Shaw, all of Hebron, NY; and his maternal grandfather, Samuel Ruggles, Sr., of Hebron, NY. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Arien Maxan, Neako Shaw, Phelony Shaw, Peace Shaw, and Thora Gillis Shaw.

Jason was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Ruggles, and his niece, Faith Shaw.
