Greenwich-Gloria A (Speenburgh) Beatty, 90, of Herrington Hill Rd, Greenwich, NY died November 27, 2021 at her home.
Born August 27, 1931 in Catskill, NY, she was the only child of Madison Welcome Speenburgh and Mildred Alice (Murphy) Speenburgh.
Gloria was a very talented pianist. In 1949, she graduated with Distinction in Music from Drew Seminary for Young Women in Carmel, NY. She also studied with Stanley Hummel. She attended Berkeley School in Manhattan for business.
Gloria taught piano for over 30 years in Catskill, NY. Through her teaching, she was able to pass on her love of music to her students.
She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Warren Beatty; two grandchildren, Casandra Beatty and Christopher Horning.
Survivors include her two adopted children, a daughter, Cheryl ( Richard) Horning of Greenwich, NY and a son, Jeffrey ( Linda) Beatty of Catskill, NY, four grandchildren, Sean (Jenn) Horning, Andrew (Ana) Horning, Samantha Beatty, Angelina Beatty and two great- grandchildren, Pharris Beatty and Leah Horning.
Interment was at the Catskill Rural Cemetery.
