Edward J. Braymer

Cambridge - Edward J. Braymer, 71, of Cambridge, NY passed away in his home on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 after a long illness. 
Born in Glens Falls, NY on April 26th, 1953, he was the son of William Braymer and Henrietta (Day) Braymer. He is survived by his daughter Heidi Braymer, sister Constance Kerst, brothers James and Thomas, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, an aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Albert Braymer plus several cousins, nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his wife Deborah (Granger) Braymer.
He was a graduate of Salem Washington Academy, class of 1972, where he majored in Electronic Repair. During his working days, he was employed by the Owlkill and Hollingsworth and Vose. Outside of work, Ed enjoyed tinkering with vehicles, building remote control airplanes, having a pet cat, and investing.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 at 1:00pm at Woodlands Cemetery in Cambridge, NY.  Reverend Debbie Earthrowl will officiate the service.  
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in Edward’s name to the Shushan Volunteer Fire Department at PO Box 131, Shushan, NY 12873 or to the Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad at 37 Gilbert Street, Cambridge, NY 12816.
