Diane M. (Devlin) Barr

Albany, NY – Diane M. Barr, 60, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at St. Peter’s Hospital.

She was born March 21, 1963 in Long Beach, CA the daughter of Jeanne McNeally Devlin of Dana Point, CA and the late Patrick Devlin.

Diane graduated from Mardan High School in Costa Mesa, CA and while living in the Albany area, she was a cashier at various stores including Rite Aid, Price Chopper and retired from the Restaurant Depot in Albany.

Diane was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Halfmoon and enjoyed attending the Ladies Bible Study.  She lived at the Ohav Shalom Apartments in Albany and participated in many activities with the other residents.

In addition to her father, Diane was predeceased by her husband, Glenn Barr in 2016.

Survivors in addition to her mother, Jeanne Devlin, Diane is survived by her children, Erin Strauss of Irvine, CA, Eric (Calli) Devlin of Johnsonville, NY,  Christopher Barr of San Diego, CA and Jordan Echolds of Murrieta, CA; granddaughters, Shaylee Strauss, Melanie Devlin, Taylor Devlin, Blake Devlin and Sonora Devlin; siblings, David Devlin, Tim Devlin, Patrick Devlin and Kerry Goodfield, all of California.

A private visitation was held at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge, NY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 4:00 pm Monday, February 19, 2024 at Grace Fellowship Church, 1 Enterprise Ave., Clifton Park, NY  12065.
