Debbie Green Obituary

White Creek, NY- On Wednesday, September 15th, 2021, the world lost one of the kindest, selfless, and loving individuals. Debbie L. Green (Harrington) was born in Bennington, VT on April 28, 1957 to Joyce Moses (Bink) & Basil Harrington. Debbie graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School in 1975 and transitioned into the working world.

Most recently she worked as a seamstress for Porta-Brace in Bennington, VT. She made many lifelong friends during her 36 plus years at Porta-Brace, whom she and her family will be forever grateful for.

Debbie met the love of her life, Joseph Green in Pownal, VT in 1985. Shortly after they met, they quickly fell in love and were married in Bennington, VT on August 23, 1986. They spent countless hours enjoying many adventures together for all of their years to come. Their love led to the birth of their only child, Christina L. Green, in 1992. Debbie cherished Christina more than anything in the world, and together the 3 Greens continued enjoying many outdoor weekend adventures. One place Debbie held close to her heart was Hampton Beach, NH. She shared her love of the ocean with both Joseph & Christina.

She will forever be remembered for her exuberant, kind and loving personality. Debbie was always willing to lend a helping hand without ever needing to be asked. She was an incredibly selfless person and a truly wonderful example of humanity to all of those around her.

Debbie leaves behind her beloved husband of 35 years, Joseph Green & her daughter Christina Green (Nathaniel Flynn of Troy, NY), her mother, Joyce Moses & stepfather Winfred Moses (Petersburgh), her three sisters, Carol (Duane) Goodermote (Petersburgh), Nancy Hewitt (Poestenkill), and Catherine (Max) Headley (Averill Park). She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, extended family and many loving friends.

She is predeceased by her father, Basil L. Harrington of Hoosick Falls, NY.
