Catherine (Gray) Badger

Hudson Falls - Catherine Gray “Cathy” Badger, 74, of Hudson Falls, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born November 23, 1951, in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor (Hogan) Gray. Cathy was a graduate of Cambridge Central School and spent much of her life caring for others. She worked as a caregiver for many families in the area and also as a housekeeper. She was also employed at the Cambridge Diner, where she washed dishes.

Cathy enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing Bingo, going for rides in the car, and spending time in Lake George. She had a fondness for milkshakes and enjoyed working on puzzles and doing crafts. Known for her quick jokes and sense of humor, Cathy brought smiles to those around her. She especially cherished the time spent with her sister Joan, with whom she spoke every day, and could often be seen riding her bicycle around town.

On September 28, 1980, she married James Badger, who survives her after 45 years of marriage. She is also survived by her son, Paul Frederick Badger of Riverside, CA; her siblings, Joan Gonzalez and Robert Gray, both of Greenwich and also the Tironi family and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Sylvia Arnold, who passed away December 6, 2022.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Whiteside Cemetery, 331 Center Cambridge Road, Cambridge, with Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating.
