Barbara J. (Bates) Saunders

West Hebron – Barbara J. Saunders passed away Friday, June 14th, 2024.  Barbara was born May 18th, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio.  She lived in Florida for a short time before moving to Spring Lake, North Carolina where she graduated from Western Harnett High School. 

In 1990 she married Michael Saunders and in 1998 they moved to West Hebron, NY.  Barbara worked for 10 years as a cashier at the Belcher Store and then at the Bedlam Corners Store. 

Barbara is survived by her husband Michael, son Jonathan and his wife of Whitehall, daughter Stephanie and her husband of Argyle, NY, her mother Elsie of Spring Lake, North Carolina, her sister Donna of Cleveland, Ohio, her sister Brenda and family of Spring Lake, North Carolina, her brother Ray and family of Spring Lake, North Carolina and her special friend Jackie of Sandford, North Carolina.
