Alicia L. (DeMarco) Williams

Buskirk-Alicia L. Williams, 43, of Buskirk, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in Bennington.

She was born February 10, 1980 in Cambridge the daughter of Charles and Sally (Rowland) DeMarco of Buskirk.

Alicia graduated from Cambridge Central School and received her nursing degree from Russell Sage College.

Alicia was a registered nurse working at Albany Medical Center as the Director of Nursing for 10 years.  She then became a traveling nurse and during the pandemic, she worked in New York City.

Alicia loved horses and Harley Davidson motorcycles.  She enjoyed snowmobiling, the outdoors, especially the hot weather enjoying the sun.  Alicia loved to travel, especially going on cruises.

Alicia was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Clifford Rowland; paternal grandparents, Charles and Phyllis DeMarco; two aunts, Jennifer Mulligan and Tina Rowland.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Dominic Williams of Buskirk; brothers, Tony (Tia) DeMarco of Buskirk and Scott (Julie) DeMarco of Clifton Park; her maternal grandmother, Anita Rowland of Shushan and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private visitation and service will be held for the family at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.
