Salem - Alexis-Anne "Maddy" Pinchuk was born on November 30, 1960 in Schenectady, New York. It was after a brief illness that Alexis passed at Glens Falls Hospital, on January 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Alexis was preceded in death by her parents in Schenectady, NY and her loving companion Cora M. Ward, and her step-daughter, Renee M. Ward.
Alexis leaves behind her son, Alex A. Pinchuk, II of Salem, NY and her step-son, Gregory Nix of Granville, NY. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends/family she loved so very much. Alexis began her life enjoying computer sciences before eventually forgoing that enjoyment for Bunnies, Blueberries, Star Trek, Trains, and above all her family.
While hoping to be loved by all yet worried, she wasn't, she was, at the very least, loved wholeheartedly by her family and close friends. The family has asked there be no viewing hours, as they would prefer to remember their departed loved one as she was in their hearts, rather than as she is now.
Alexis will be buried in the spring, at the discretion of the family. Donations can be made to Salem Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 360, Salem, NY 12865 or Salem Vol. Fire Dept., P.O. Box 449, Salem, NY 12865. Please leave any memories you wish to share on this website. McClellan-Gariepy Funeral Home will be facilitating the arrangements where she will be buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Salem, NY with family and friends on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11 am.
Our hearts go out to both family and friends during these trying times.
