West Rupert, VT-Wilfred Allen Farewell, 86, of West Rupert, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at his residence.

Born January 16, 1931 in Globe, AZ the son of the late George and Rachel (Prime) Farewell.

He was an honorably discharged veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force.  Mr. Farewell was a self-employed carpenter for many years until he retired.  He enjoyed playing golf, watching football and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Thelma (Blow) Farewell whom he married April 23, 1955; his children, Kathy (Tom) McManus of Granville, Mark Farewell of Virginia and David (Sharon) Farewell of Millbrook, NY; two grandchildren, Jeremy Devlin and Taylor Devlin; a great granddaughter, Charlotte Ann Devlin.

Military honors will be at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph, VT.
