Obituary

Lititz, PA - Tara Lynn Keiski, 47, of Lititz, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, Tara was the beloved daughter of Alvin and Barbara (Smith) Keiski of The Villages, Florida. She was graduate of Wilton High School in Wilton, CT and went on to attend Katherine Gibbs Business College in Norwalk, CT. Over the years, Tara built a career she was proud of, working with various sign and design companies in both Pennsylvania and Connecticut. She took great satisfaction in her work and was known for her attention to detail and creativity.

A woman of many interests and deep passions, her primary passion was her love for her family and friends. Tara also found joy in the arts. Her favorite play was Les Misérables, and she cherished music and live concerts such as Phish, the Grateful Dead, and Zach Brown Band to name a few. Tara often danced and felt the music as if no one was watching. She was artistic by nature and carried a quiet admiration for angels. A true lover of the outdoors, Tara enjoyed camping throughout the United States and especially loved fishing — a pastime that brought her peace and connection to nature.

Tara's enthusiasm for sports was unmistakable; she was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Yankees, and New York Rangers. Whether cheering on her teams or sharing her favorite songs, Tara brought a sense of spirit and light-heartedness to those around her.

She was a woman of faith, a member in both the Wilton Congregational Church in Wilton, CT, and the Lititz Methodist Church in Lititz, PA, where she found community and support throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, Tara is survived by her sister, Keri (John, III) Costa of Leesport, PA; and her cherished "paw nieces and nephews" — Sage, Sarge, and Sadie. She also leaves behind her cousins Valorie (the late Tom) Goodemote of Mayfield, NY, and Harold (Kathy) Sloan of Castleton, NY; and her aunts, Joanne Lucia of Agawam, MA, Lynn Keith of Pattersonville, NY, and Lisa Friello of Niskayuna, NY.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Doris Smith and Cranston Arnold Smith; her paternal grandparents, Ignatius Keiski and Evelyn Hamilton; and her uncle, Harry Smith.

A graveside service to honor Tara's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery in Salem, with Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating.

Tara will be deeply missed by her family and friends, remembered for her creativity, her warmth, and the quiet strength she brought into every space she entered.
