Cambridge-Ronald Edward Young, 85, of Cambridge, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his residence.

Born August 3, 1935 in Hoosick Falls, he was the son of the late Fred and Ethel (Leschorne) Young.  Ronald attended school in Buskirk and also in Hoosick Falls.  He entered the U.S. Air Force and served for nine years.  He worked at a paper mill in Bennington and eventually moved to Grand Rapids, MI where he lived for many years and worked at various restaurants as a cook and dishwasher.  He relocated back to Cambridge eight years ago.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Carl Young, Janice Tollison and Allen Young.

Ronald is survived by his siblings, Katheryn (Fredrick) Knuetter of Petersburgh, Judith (late Floyd) Wooddell of Cambridge, Carolyn (George) Jordan of White Creek, Terry (Janet) Young of Buskirk, Edwin (Barbra) Young of Eagle Bridge and many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at the Island Hill Cemetery in Buskirk.
