Cambridge-Roger C. Ryan, 84, of Cambridge, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the Bennington Health and Rehab Center.

Born April 28, 1937 in Burlington, VT, he was the son of the late Charles and Hilda (Bassett) Ryan.  Roger attended Salem Washington Academy and enlisted in the U.S. Army serving with the 101st Airborne Division during the Korean Conflict.

Roger worked at General Electric in Schenectady for many years and then started his own construction business, Roger Ryan Construction which he operated for over forty years until he retired.

Roger was a life long fisherman.  He fished lakes, streams, such as the Great Lakes, Lake George, the Massachusetts Coast and also fished in Canada.  He also loved scuba diving.

Roger is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Janet M. Record-Ryan; his children, Sandra Ryan of Salem and Sally Sambrook of Clifton Park; a brother, Ronald Ryan of Daytona Beach, Fl.
