Obituary

Cambridge Priscilla A. Weeden, 64, died peacefully at her home on Jerome Drive on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 with her family by her side after fighting a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born Sunday, February 27, 1949 in Bennington, Vermont, she was the daughter of Theodore and Thelma Racicot Sausville. She graduated from Mount Anthony High School, class of 1967. On June 28, 1975 she married Leonard Weeden. They moved to Cambridge in the early 1980s and raised their family. Priscilla was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. An accomplished knitter and crocheter, she loved making hats, scarves and sweaters for her family. Reading was another favorite pastime. Spending time with her granddaughter, Kate Lynn Weeden, was one of the most precious parts of her life. Along with her beloved husband of 38 years, she is survived by two children, Jennifer Weeden of Cambridge and Matthew Weeden of Lawrence, Kansas; her adored granddaughter, Kate Lynn Weeden of Cambridge; four siblings, Bernadette Kenyan and husband James, of Bennington, VT, Michael Sausville and wife Annette of Bennington, VT, Theda Lewis and husband James of Pepperell, MA and Laura Zwynemburg and husband James of Queensbury and several nieces, nephews and their families. It was Priscilla's request to be cremated. Her ashes will be buried at Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge. Friends and relatives are invited to Woodlands Cemetery for a graveside service on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 10:00AM.
