Buskirk -  Peter Parrish Telford, 44, of King Road, Buskirk, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy surrounded by his loving family.

Peter was born October 17, 1971 in Cambridge NY to Linda Baker Telford and Norman Telford Sr.

Peter is survived by his maternal grandmother Martha Baker of Hoosick Falls; his parents,  Joseph and Linda Springer with whom he resided; his children, Peter P. Telford, Jr. (Tia), Tasha Telford (John), Rebecca Coon (Josh), all of Cambridge, his siblings, Norman Telford, Jr. (Tanya) and Marcia Telford of Buskirk, Kimberly Leslie of Salem, Reverend Joseph Springer II (Wendy) of Rincon, GA, Tina Schmidt (Chris) of Hoosick Falls, and Elizabeth Oakes (Philip) of Berlin NY. Peter is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several cousins and many nieces and nephews. Peter is predeceased by his father Norman.

In earlier years Peter was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Prior to his disability he was a talented mechanic. Working on a farm was his ideal occupation.

His favorite activities were playing with his grandchildren and watching television and movies at home with his family.

There will be a private family funeral service with the Pastor Clyde McCaskill officiating. Interment will be at Island Hill Cemetery in Buskirk.
