Obituary

Salem, NY Patrick Gary Jameson, 46, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Glens Falls Hospital after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Dr. Dina (formerly Foster) Jameson of Schuylerville.Born Tuesday, July 27, 1965 in Endicott, New York, he was the son of Gary O. and Eileen (McElhiney) Jameson of Saratoga Springs. After graduating from Galway High School, he attended Adelphi University on Long Island where he studied technical theater. He later continued his education at SUNY Albany. Patrick's career had many facets. He worked at SPAC-Saratoga Performing Arts Center-where he was their youngest assistant technical director. He was an independent antique dealer and a certified gemologist. For over 15 years, he worked for Adirondack Studios in Argyle. He used his carpentry skills building production sets and was also a foreman and the company safety officer. Taking a different path, after extensive training, he became an Emergency Medical Technician and has been employed by the Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad the past five years. He truly loved his work at CVRSPatrick was a spiritual woodsman. He loved the outdoors and brought it into his home, building his own solar house. A true Renaissance man, he was an amazing cook.He was a friend to many and they all considered him a loyal confidant, a warm, kind, generous and compassionate friend who was a great listener and had a fabulous sense of humor.Along with his wife and parents, he is survived by two children, Patrick Tucker Jameson and wife Courtney of Walnut Creek, CA and Ashley Lynn Jameson of Wilton; three siblings Jeff Jameson of Avondale, AZ, Heidi Limongi of Longwood, FL and Danny Jameson of Saratoga Springs; several nieces, nephews and a grandson, Colin Jameson Rounds.Friends and relatives are invited to call on Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 2 to 5 PM at Ackley & Ross Funeral Home, 73 West Main Street, Cambridge, NY.A funeral service, conducted by Pastor Jim Bartholomew of the Whitestone Christian Ministry in Cambridge, will be held on Monday, December 12, at 10 AM at the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church, 81 East Main Street (by the stop light). Burial will follow at Barkersville Cemetery in Galway.There will be a reception at the Cambridge Valley Rescue, at 37 Gilbert Street, starting at 3 PM. All are invited to celebrate Pat's life and share memories and stories.If you would like to remember Patrick in a special way, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad, P.
