Obituary

Cambridge - Patrice C. Brown, 72, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital.

Patrice was born on February 1, 1952, in Troy, NY, the daughter of John Leo Connolly and Mary Countryman Connolly. She graduated from Troy High School and embarked on a journey enriched with diverse experiences and unwavering faith.

Patrice's career took her from managing a casino in Las Vegas during her husband's tenure at Nellis Air Force Base to warmly serving customers at Pam's Country Kitchen in West Sand Lake and later at the Northway Mall in Colonie. She dedicated 17 years of her life to Mr. Subb in Troy, retiring with deep gratitude for her years of service.

A devout Christian, Patrice found solace in her beliefs, cherishing quiet moments at home and the joys of fishing. Her greatest treasures were her children and grandchildren, whom she adored.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, William P. Brown, whom she married on October 17, 1970. Patrice is also survived by her children Marybeth Katlin (Christopher) Mahoney of Tampa, FL, Daniel (Sheryl) Brown of Cambridge, Heather Brown of Cambridge, and Bill (Jennifer) Brown of Rexford. She leaves behind grandchildren Robert, Alexander, and Rachel Mahoney; Colin, Sean, Avery, and Matthew Brown; Gregory and Kevin Plante; and Jacob and Joshua Brown. Patrice is also survived by her siblings Patrick (Carol) Connolly of Colonie and Eileen Charles of Troy.

Patrice was predeceased by her parents, her brother Michael Connolly, and her sister Kate Weatherwax.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Saratoga Hospital and Hospice for their attentive care and understanding.

The family will celebrate Patrice's life privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY  12110 in memory of Patrice Colleen Brown.
