Cambridge-Pasquale Lino Manocchia, 96, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at his residence.

Lino was born in Giulianova, Italy and was the son nof the late Francesco and Filomena (Spadacci) Manocchia.  Lino graduated from a Technical School in Italy.  He came to the United States in 1946 and lived in New Rochelle for 26 years and then moved to Cambridge.

Lino was a Journalist for RAI TV in Rome, Italy and was based in New York City.  Lino interviewed many famous people, including Presidents, movie stars & sports figures.  Lino loved to write and was very interested in politics.

He was predeceased by his wife, Ada DiMichele Manocchia.

Lino is survived by a son, Adriano Manocchia of Cambridge; a grandson, Adriano Manocchia of Ithaca; a brother, Bonito Manocchia of New Jersey.

Lino will be entombed next to his wife at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Bronx, NY.

The family will have a service in the Bronx at a later date.
