Obituary

East Greenwich-Pamela M. McCann, 74, of East Greenwich, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Glens Falls Hospital.

Pam was born August 26, 1943 in Whitehall and was the daughter of the late Edward and Melba (Bettini) McCann.

Pam graduated from Greenwich High School and worked as a dispatcher for the New York State Police, Troop G in Loudonville for 28 years.  She then assumed ownership of the family business, McCann Memorials in East Greenwich serving families for many years.

Pam enjoyed traveling to the racinos and going to dinner at local restaurants.

Pam is survived by her cousins, Denise Gillis, Deborah Hall, Diane Arnold, all of Salem, Donald "Skip" Perkins, Libby Perkins, George Perkins, all of Greenwich and Mary Moss of New Port Richey, FL.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Greenwich with Rev. Martin Fisher officiating.

Memorial contributions in memory of Pam may be made to the Salem Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 360, Salem, NY  12865 or the Cossayuna Vol. Fire Dept., P.O. Box 321, Cossayuna, NY  12823.

Pam's family thanks her caregivers, Cindy Binette, Harry Clark and John & Gordy Kniffen for all of their care and support to Pam and a special thank you to the members of the Salem Rescue Squad and Cossayuna Vol. Fire Dept. (First Responders) for assisting Pam when she needed medical attention.
