Hoosick Falls, NY – Louise Raymonde (Matte) Weber passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, after a brief illness.

Louise was born July 22, 1945, in Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Romeo M. and Yvonne E. (Page) Matte. She was raised in Saint Albert, Ontario, Shoreham, Vermont, and Clarksburg, Massachusetts, along with her seven brothers and seven sisters. She attended Notre Dame School in North Adams, Massachusetts.

On April 25, 1964, Louise married the love of her life, Herman R. Weber, at Notre Dame Church in North Adams, Massachusetts. Together, they raised five children, Lorraine, Donna, Herman Jr., Connie, and Lisa. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who devoted herself to her family.

In addition to being an exemplary homemaker, Louise worked for several local businesses before finding her niche at Mary McClellan Hospital. As supervisor of housekeeping, she was recognized for her hard work, dedication, tireless energy, kindness, and her beautiful smile. Louise took great pride in her work and the people she worked with.

Louise was a communicant of Saint Patrick’s Church in Cambridge, where she served for many years as a Eucharistic Minister.

In addition to her husband, Herman, and daughters, Connie and Lorraine, Louise was predeceased by her brothers, Reginald, Ivan, John, George, Robert, and Noel; and her sisters, Giselle and Marie Claire.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Donna (Chris) and Lisa (Matt); her son, Herman Jr.; her grandchildren, Brian, Matthew (Brittany), Megan (Justin), Jill (Aaron), Heather (Brian), Evan (Taylor), and Ellis (Molly); and her great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Nathan, Anna, Olivia, Atreyu, Madlyn, Jameson, Isaac, Ezra, Orion, and Evelyn. She is also survived by her sisters, Francoise, Suzanne, Diane, Christine, and Theresa; her brother, Richard; and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Louise will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her for her loving, giving, and compassionate nature, as well as her energetic spirit.

A private funeral service was held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home in Cambridge, followed by interment at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery in Cambridge, NY, officiated by Father Peter Tkocz.
