West Rupert, VT - Loretta Grace Rogers, 88, of West Rupert, Vermont, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at her residence.

Born July 15, 1937, in Granville, New York, Loretta was the daughter of the late Gordon and Olive (Herrick) Mullen. She attended a one-room schoolhouse in Rupert and West Rupert, Vermont, and Salem Washington Academy. Loretta lived her entire life in West Rupert, where she devoted herself to her home and family as a homemaker.

Loretta was a woman of many talents and a generous heart. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and creating stained glass pieces. She proudly served her community as a member of the Salem Rescue Squad for fifteen years and was a member of the Rupert Congregational Church.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Eldon F. "Don" Rogers, who passed away on January 1, 2014.

Loretta is survived by her children, Michele MacQuinn and her husband Kevin of Madison, Alabama, and Eldon Rogers and his wife, Debbie, of Granville, New York; her grandchildren, Christopher (Laura) Rogers, Andrew (Alisa) MacQuinn, and Daniel MacQuinn; and her two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, with a service beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the McClellan-Gariepy Funeral Home, 19 East Broadway, Salem, New York. Interment will take place at a later date in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Salem, New York.
