Kristine Mary McKeighan, 67, of Salem, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Granville Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing.

Kristine was born June 9, 1951 in Granville, the daughter of the late Kenneth Bentley and Miriam (Gough) McKeighan.  She graduated from Salem Washington Academy in 1969 and had worked at Sherwood Medical in Argyle for 32 years until they closed.  Kristine then became a Certified Nurses Assistant and worked at Equinox Terrace in Manchester for many years.

She had a love for the outdoors working in her yard and loved to garden.  She was happy to spend time with her granddaughter, Erin.  Kristine also loved to play cards and going to her sister Sharon's home and enjoy the horses.

Kristine attended the Disciples of Christ Church of West Rupert.

She is survived by a daughter, Kristie McKeighan of Glens Falls; her siblings, Maureen Thompson of Gainesville, VA, Kenneth "Buzz" (Dee) McKeighan of Granville, Sharon (Joe) Knipes of Ferrisburg, VT, Kathryn (Douglas) Krach of Salem, Michael (Lyn) McKeighan of West Rupert and Tracey (David) Wesley of West Hebron; a granddaughter, Erin Misch and many nieces and nephews.
