Ambler, PA-John Jarl Ekberg, 82, of Ambler, PA passed away suddenly Friday, January 27, 2017 at his residence.  Born June 7, 1934 in St. paul, MN, he was the son of the late Jarl and Emily (Sutherland) Ekberg.

John earned his bachelor's degree from Hamline University in St. Paul.

John is survived by his sister and brother in law, Karen and George Orlemann and nieces and nephews.

A private viewing and funeral service will be held at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home in Cambridge.
