Obituary

Cambridge-John P. Duddy, 68, formerly of Cambridge, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Slate Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Granville.

John was born in Cambridge January 29, 1950 the son of the late James and Elsie (Cullen) Duddy.

John graduated from St. Mary's School in Hoosick Falls and worked for the New York State Dept. of Transportation Highway Department in Petersburgh for 27 years retiring in 2000.

He enjoyed fly fishing on the Batten Kill River, deer hunting and wood working.  John looked forward to watching football on Sunday's with his family and he loved to share stories and enjoyed having his drink.  John loved spending time with his dogs, especially "Piggy".

John is survived by his children, Joshua Duddy and Benjamin Duddy, both of Cambridge and Danielle Duddy of Greenwich.

Calling hours will be from 3-5 pm Friday September 14, 2018 at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.  A service will begin at 5 pm with Jeffrey Peck, Parish Life Director of St. Patrick's Church officiating.
