Salem-Janice L. Neil, 82, of Salem, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at Glens Falls Hospital.  Janice is at peace and is not suffering any longer.

Janice was born July 28 1941 in Schuylerville the daughter of the late Francis and Rozina (Gay) DeFabio.  She graduated from Salem Washington Academy in 1959.  Janice had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by her family.

Janice is survived by her husband of 62 years, Clifford Neil who she married April 9, 1961; her children, Todd (Bonnisue) Neil of Queensbury, Suzanne Neil of Salem, Scott (Stacy) Neil of Granville, Karie (Fred) Truehart of Salem and four grandchildren.

A private funeral service will be held for the family at the McClellan-Gariepy Funeral Home, 19 East Broadway, Salem.  Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Salem.
