Cossayuna-James L. Cowan, 67, of Cossayuna, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at his residence.

Jim was born in Cambridge and was the son of the late John M. and Ruth (Dean) Cowan.  He graduated from Salem Washington Academy and continued his education at Plattsburgh State earning a bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics.

Jim worked for Boston Scientific in Glens Falls as a Production Assembler for 22 years retiring on his birthday, November 4, 2010.

Jim was very talented being very knowledgeable with electronics and computers.  He also enjoyed music.

Jim is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, David and Catherine Cowan of Albuquerque, NM and a niece, Flannery Cowan also of Albuquerque, NM.

Services for Jim will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the East Greenwich Cemetery, McDougal Lake Road, East Greenwich with Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating.
