Obituary

Jackson-Holly Joy (Rehn) Betit, 55, of Jackson, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 3, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital.

Holly was born April 22, 1961 in Cambridge the daughter of the late Peter and Lillian (Boice) Rehn.  Holly was a 1979 graduate of Salem Washington Academy and was also the class clown.

She worked for Mallinckrodt in Argyle for 15 years and then worked at Mack Molding in Arlington as a Quality Auditor for 15 years until 2015 and while working at Mack Molding she also worked at Yushak's Store in Shushan.

Holly always had a smile on her face and would always put others first.  She had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh.  Holly loved Halloween and dressed up when she worked at Mack Molding.  She enjoyed tubing down the Batten Kill and participated in "Jump in the Lake" for Hugs for Heroes.  Holly loved animals and flower gardening.

Holly is survived by her husband of 9 years, Lawrence C. Betit whom she married September 22, 2006; 2 step-children, Jeamae M. Betit and Thomas L. Betit, both of Bennington; a brother, Lee James (Diane) Rehn of Hudson Falls and a sister, Linda J. Rehn of Shushan.  Holly also leaves behind a nephew, Whitney Allen (Elizabeth) Rehn of Hudson Falls and a niece, Amanda Lynn Neil (Robert) Roeske of Cambridge.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 9-11 am at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.  Funeral services will be private for the family at Woodlands Cemetery in Cambridge.

Memorial contributions in memory of Holly may be made to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center, 102 Park St., Glens Falls, NY  12801,  Attn: Mary Lou Zieniuk.
