Ocala, FL-Henry Leopold Rapp, 92, of Ocala, FL and formerly of South Easton, NY, passed away Saturday evening, July 9, 2016 at Hospice of Marion County in Ocala.

Henry was born December 2, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Leopold and Christina (Haus) Rapp.

He married Ruth E. Monteith on October 23, 1954 in Salem, NY.  They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Hawaii and have been married for a total of 61 years.

Henry operated a dairy farm in Easton, NY for 19 years and was an Agway, Inc. Tech working out of the Greenwich, NY store for 12 years.  Henry retired from Agway in 1980 and they moved to Florida in 1986.  He was a member of the Horseshoe Pitching Club at Spruce Creek for many years.  It always gave him pleasure in helping his friends and neighbors in their time of need.

In addition to his parents, Henry was predeceased by two baby boys and two baby girls; three brothers, Alois Leopold, Karl Theodore and Leo Rapp.

Henry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Monteith Rapp; a niece, Christine R. Arthur and her husband Hugh; nephews, Allen Rapp and his wife Norma, Louis Rapp and his wife Dianne, James Rapp and his wife Cinda and Kevin Rapp and his wife Dolly and also several nieces and nephews.

At Henry's request, there will be no viewing or services.  Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Salem.
