Cambridge-Earlin W. Pickert, 60, of Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 31, 2016 at his residence.

Earl was born March 22, 1956 in Great Barrington, MA the son of the late William and Eileen (Rush) Pickert.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and also served in the National Guard.

Earl was currently working at Eastern Castings in Cambridge and had been working there for many years.

Earl loved working on cars and always wanted 1969 Mustang.  He also enjoyed working and being outdoors.

Earl was predeceased by his wife, Loretta Young Pickert who passed away May 11, 2015.

He is survived by his children, Christopher (Tamara) Pickert of Mesquite, TX, Debra Saenz of Lawton, OK and Samuel (Alexandrea Bennett) Pickert of Cambridge.  Earl is also survived by his grandchildren, Carrie Pickert, Nicole Lewis, Kimberlie Oubre, Shane Duke, Jr., Ranger Long, Max Long, Stephan Pickert and Dante Jace Pickert; 5 great grandchildren and his brothers & sisters in Connecticut.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 4-6 pm at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main Street, Cambridge.

A private service with military honors will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
