Greenwich-David A. Taft, 66, of Greenwich, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital.

Born in Cambridge October 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Bernie and Ruth (Russell) Taft.

David was educated locally and worked at the Fish Hatchery in Cambridge for a number of years.  He then worked odd jobs for many years.  He enjoyed word search, fishing and all kinds of animals.

David is survived by his siblings, Bernie (Starlene) Taft of Berlin, Leonard "The Mayor" Taft of Shushan, William Taft of Buskirk, Richard (Clara) Taft of Ballston Spa, Virginia (Bruce) Dorr of Wisconsin and Elizabeth Taft of Greenwich.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Taft.

A Celebration of David's life will be at 10:00 am Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Shushan United Presbyterian Church, 730 County Route 64, Shushan with Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating.
