Cambridge, NY – Daniel Clarence Young, Sr., 68, of Cambridge, joined his parents and three brothers in heaven on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Glens Falls Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

Daniel was born March 20, 1957 in Cambridge the son of Henry and Bessie (Gates) Young.  He was also predeceased by his three brothers and sister, Clayton R. Young, Albert Young, Sr. and Nancy Ruggles.

Daniel is survived by his fiancée, Mary Jane LaPradd of Cambridge; three children, Daniel C. Young, II of Cambridge, James Farquharson of Bennington, VT and April Diehl of SW Supply, NC; sisters, Carol Duncans of Valatie, NY and Mary Fanno of Melrose.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Young Residence, 4 Johnson Rd., Apt. 3, Cambridge with Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating.  A reception will follow. (THE SERVICE LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE YOUNG RESIDENCE).
