Obituary

Bennington-Carolyn "Tica" Morneault, 74 of Bennington, previously of West Pawlet, VT, peacefully went to eternal rest on Saturday, March 25, 2017.

Born April 17, 1942 in Freeport, Maine to Frederick and Mary (Soper) Miller.  She attended high school in Terryville, Connecticut and furthered her education in clerical studies.  She was an office manager at Maier Electronics and Tate Welding in Manchester, Vermont and also General Electric in Hudson Falls, New York.

Carolyn's love of her family and friends kept her strong until her final days.  She enjoyed baking, canning, gardening, blue grass music, bingo, and an occasional trip to the casino.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, Eugene Morneault; her children, Kim Griffin of Cambridge, NY, Dawn (Tony) Condon of Queensbury, NY, Nadine WhiteEagle of Hubberton, VT, Jackie Delap of Canton, CT, Lorrie Morneault of California, Lynn (David) Glass of Minnesota, Kelly (Craig) Watrous of Granville, NY and Eugene (Tammie) Morneault of Hartford, CT.  She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great grandchildren on the way, and her "special baby" Precious.

She was predeceased by her parents, her son John, her great-grandson Jack, and her best friend of sixty-one years Joanie.

Her gentle touch and warm smile will be greatly missed.

Calling hours will be held from 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge.  A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 1:30 pm at St. Patrick's Church, 17 South Park St., Cambridge with the Very Rev. Thomas Zelker officiating.

Interment will be at a later date at Mountainview Cemetery in West Pawlet, VT.

Carolyn's family thanks Dr. Elizabeth Whateley and the ICU staff at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center for the wonderful care given to Carolyn and the compassion shown to her family.
