Cambridge - Carol May Anderson, 87, of Cambridge, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs.

Born December 26, 1938 in the Town of Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Bessie (LeBarron) Hill. Carol was a graduate of Cambridge Central School.

In her early years, Carol worked at the Rice Seed Mill in Cambridge and also spent a brief time as a home healthcare provider before devoting herself to being a homemaker and caring for her family. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and especially loved flower gardening, going to tag sales, and watching old television shows. Carol was also very artistic and enjoyed painting on slate, often creating pictures of flowers and birds, especially hummingbirds and blue birds.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Carol Anne Anderson of Cambridge; her son, Thomas K. Anderson, Jr. of Cambridge; her granddaughter, Jennifer Ocasio and her great granddaughter, Annika Ocasio both of Peru, NY; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Thomas K. Anderson, Sr., who passed away January 23, 2021; her brother, Edward Hill; and her sisters, Grace Reynolds and Pearl Peters.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 12-2 pm at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main Street, Cambridge.

A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Woodlands Cemetery in Cambridge with Rev. Carol Finke officiating.
