Helaine F. (Diemer) Zarro

Saratoga Springs-Helaine Zarro, age 65, passed away in her home on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Saratoga Springs, New York. She was born on August 12, 1952 to Lillian and William Diemer.

Throughout her life, she helped people whenever they needed it, with no questions asked. She was a pillar of strength to her family, and fearlessly protected those she loved. Helaine lead by example and proved that love is the greatest force in the universe — it could overcome any obstacle, and move any mountain. 

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Frank; her children Matthew, Maryam, Andrew and Katie; and her grandchildren Isabella, Mia, Olivia, George and Lucy.

From the moment Helaine was born, she made the world a better place.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for having us in your life. We will carry you everywhere we go and your legacy will live on in us all. We love and adore you.

Calling hours are 4-6 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main Street, Cambridge.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Thursday, May 24, 2018 at St. Joseph's Church, 36 Bleecker St., Greenwich.

Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Cambridge.
